Mindfulness is described as being present, and actively aware of feelings, thoughts, behavior, sensations, sounds, etc., in a non-judgmental way. Meditation is a technique which helps us clear our mind, go within, and achieve a sense of peace and stillness. The evidence-based physical benefits of meditation include lower blood pressure, increased serotonin to improve our mood, an enhanced immune system, and increased energy. The blend of the two techniques is know as Mindfulness Meditation.
